The real block was neither the price nor the technology. One evening, she finally said it in her own words: she was afraid of losing her way around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resistance to change isn&#8217;t technical<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People often assume resistance comes from not understanding the tools. That&#8217;s false in most cases. They&#8217;re questions about control, and they&#8217;re legitimate ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Answering resistance to change<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here&#8217;s what actually moved things in her case, and what we now apply everywhere:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>First, visible proof. A report every month: what ran, what it produced. Not a twenty-page report, one page.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Second, nothing goes out without her. The system prepares, she decides. Messages, changes to the website: she keeps the final word.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Third, one thing at a time. We didn&#8217;t connect everything the first month. One piece, she gets comfortable, then the next.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Fourth, her access, her data. Everything stays under her name. If she leaves tomorrow, she takes it all with her.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Answering resistance to change takes proof, not arguments. Resistance to change is also a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Resistance_to_change\">well documented phenomenon<\/a>, far beyond the world of small businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">So, what&#8217;s holding you back?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;ve been putting off automation for months, ask yourself honestly what&#8217;s holding you back: the budget, or the fear of losing your way around?
